The Task

Brecon Carreg, widely known as the number one water brand in Wales, faced the challenge of establishing itself as a noteworthy contender in other parts of the UK. To tackle this, the brand recognised the need to give its visual identity and packaging a makeover. The goal was to highlight its Welsh heritage and create a stronger sense of connection with consumers. By refreshing the visual identity and packaging design, we aimed to accentuate Brecon Carreg’s origins and make a lasting impression. This effort aimed to strengthen the brand's presence and appeal beyond Wales, establishing it as an exciting choice in the UK market.

The Process

The new branding optimises its recognisable visual assets, the Brecon Beacons and its distinctive cottage. By incorporating the majestic beauty of the mountains and the charm of the cottage, it captures the Welsh heritage and sense of natural purity and tradition in a modern way. It creates a strong visual identity that reinforces the association with the Welsh landscape and invites consumers to experience the essence of Brecon Carreg through its refreshing water.

A real contender in the UK market while staying proudly true to their Welsh roots.

Since our relationship began 14 years ago, sales have steadily increased. Now the No.1 Welsh water brand with an increase in sales outside Wales now being seen.
